Bringing reliable
science to the surface.
We connect authoritative planetary and climate science to the people who use it to make decisions — journalists, mayors, policymakers, and institutions.

The challenge we are addressing
Climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution are no longer questions of missing evidence — they are questions of trust. Scientific knowledge has never been more robust, yet fragmentation, disinformation and algorithm-driven distortion make it harder to find, verify and act.
Earth Info Hub seeks to close that gap between sourced information and decision makers.
Who we are
We are an independent Swiss non-profit, founded in Geneva and working hand in hand with networks of scientists, international organizations, and universities. We work at the intersection of artificial and human intelligence.
What we do
We are building a “safe place” for climate and environmental information and knowledge, powered by AI and human networks. The Earth Info Hub is a public good initiative targeting journalists, policymakers and decision makers of all kinds. It provides quick, relatable and sourced access to authoritative scientific information.
Scientific basis
Earth Info Hub is built with scientists. We’re developing an AI tool that is trained on a body of knowledge curated by experts and scientists, based on a robust scientific methodology — not the open internet. We want to ensure that we can answer any of your questions with full source attribution, so you can trace it back to where it came from.
How we do it
- A curated corpus of knowledge. Sourced exclusively from UN agencies, intergovernmental bodies and recognised scientific institutions, selected against transparent, publicly documented criteria;
- An AI-powered platform. Multilingual, source-cited answers to users’ questions;
- Human expert networks. Scientists and institutions who define what counts as authoritative, and stand behind the answers;
- Capacity building. Support including trainings, briefings and masterclasses for journalists, policymakers and communicators.
